Quacamole recipe

Whenever (if we have avocados) my family or friends are coming over my mother, or I, makes a simple quacamole dip. It is incredibly easy to make and, if I can say so myself, very tasty as well! The amount of times we had to write down or e - mail the recipe of this dip prove enough, so I figured that you guys would also enjoy this recipe. All you need for this is a blender, a avocado, a small tomato and onion, a clove of garlic, just a little bit cream, and lastly salt and pepper to season.

Ingredients
  • 1 Avocado
  • 1 Small tomato
  • 1 Small onion
  • 1 Clove garlic
  • Salt and pepper
  • Bit of cream

Instructions
  1. The first things you do is peeling the avocado, chopping up the tomato and the onion so it fits in to your blender.
  2. After you have done that you put everything, including all the other ingredients, into your blender and blend it all together until the mixture is smooth. I told you it was incredibly easy!

Brownie bottom cheesecake inspired by Roxana's Home Baking

My grandmother assigned me to make dessert for Mothersday last sunday. I always have ideas for baked treats, but for some reason I completely blanked for this occasion. So, I went on Pinterest and found this amazing recipe for a brownie bottom cheesecake by Roxana's Home Baking. My family loves cheesecake and my aunt told me that anything with chocolate would be good, so this cake ticks all of those boxes.

When one of my family members would open the fridge they would squel with excitement because the cake looked so good, and I have to say it was a very pretty cake to look at as it was my very first cake that  I ever made from scratch.

If you want to recreate this brownie bottom cheesecake yourself you will have to go over to Roxana's lovely food blog! She explains the recipe and the process way better, I would just repeat here explanation but in different words. Which is a bit silly I think, so just go over to her blog and find further instructions there. I just wanted to share my results of this recipe.

Considering the response I got from my family members, and the fact that I really enjoyed the cake myself, I think I did pretty well for my first cake! My mum ordered me to save the recipe for the cheesecake topping because it was one of the best ones she has had. Trust me, my mother has baked her own cheesecakes and has used her own recipe over and over so if she asked me to save the recipe, it means something.

Boyfriend jeans lookbook

One of my recent purchases was a pair of boyfriend jeans from New Look. Yes, me the incredibly short girl that usually wears dresses and skirts bought a pair of baggy, loose fitting boyfriend jeans. After trying a few outfits with the jeans on I decided to make my very first lookbook centered around them, as I assume I am not the only girl that had trouble styling boyfriend jeans.
